A Look at The Warrens

If you’ve been following my site, I’ve talked a few times about how much of a fan I was of the film “The Conjuring” as I enjoyed watching Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga’s depiction of real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Yes, they are real people but I admit that I did not know anything about them (the film doesn’t really help with that either). Now I know a little more (and maybe you will too) after I came across a few old videos of them primarily in interviews talking about their past experiences. I have shared some of them below. I recommend you watch the first film and just a reminder, The Conjuring 2 releases June 10th, 2016.

Here’s just an interview with Ed and Lorraine.

Here is another interview with Ed and Lorraine.

Below is a featurette from the original film where the real Lorraine Warren (Ed passed away in 2006) gives us a glimpse of her and Ed’s home life and also of the occult museum which she keeps under lock and key.

Speaking of the museum, here is another video about the real-life version of the “Annabelle” doll in which the 2014 film of the same name is based.

Again, the real Lorraine Warren talks about her experience in the Amityville Horror House.

Here is another video where Lorraine takes about her experience with the famous Southington, CT funeral home case in which the 2009 film “A Haunting in Connecticut” was loosely based.

The one in one of the videos here is a lot more scary than the one from the movie.

She doesn’t look anything like I thought she would. The story is terrifying but the doll looks less scary. I wouldn’t say that to her face though.
