Quarantine was easily the best episode of the series so far as a mysterious sickness had everyone involved with their own crazy subplots.

Synopsis: When Cap and Skip both get sick it leads to vastly different quarantine experiences for each of them. Rook is left alone with a new female member of the team. When he finds himself attracted to her, he’s forced to confront his feelings and must decide whether to act on them. (Showtime)

The best episode so far saw everyone involved in their own hilarious shenanigans.

Quarantine started with Cap’s solitaire game being interrupted by the latest message from NASA. Their psych evals left much to be desired and they will getting a new basemate, a woman named Alisha (Diandra Lyle). Suffice it to say that she didn’t quite fit into the dynamic right away. Cap was not feeling well (despite claiming otherwise). According to the rules, he would have to be quarantined and Skip would need to perform an evaluation on him.

Unfortunately, Skip caught whatever Cap had so they had to be creative with how to quarantine everyone safely therefore Cap took it upon himself to set something up outside while Skip took his original spot in the greenhouse. Skip’s good vs. evil hallucinations were entertaining. Meanwhile with the others gone, Alisha’s next focus was Rook and his psyche though their time alone together was causing an internal conflict within him. Entering Cap’s sweat lodge for advice probably wasn’t the best idea.

Cap’s time in his sweat lodge came to an end as a result of some coyotes and a scorpion that found its way in his suit. He woke up in a Canadian stargazing family’s trailer full of scorpion stings on his face. After Rook shared his feeling with Alisha, she shot him down nicely but once his advances continues, she laid down the law.

In the end, Cap and Skip recovered with Skip having removed his tonsils and Cap returning with that same Canadian family. As far as Alisha was concerned, her job was done so she was leaving the base.

More episodes involving everyone please.
