This week iZombie channels its sexual side after Liv eats the brains of a player. Things have been quite tense after Mama Leone was brutally executed and Major stood by and let it happen. Liv is determined to continue helping Mama Leone’s cause as she helps Clive investigate the murder of a player. The player was a wingman-for-hire and was poisoned–through his condoms.

As Liv and Clive begin to interview potential suspects, they look into Max’s one-night stands (of which he had plenty). Back at Fillmore-Graves, Chase tells Major to look into any soldiers illegally selling brains. It appears Russ is one of them and Chase wants Major to keep an eye on him.

There is a hilarious moment in this episode when Clive and Liv begin to interview all the women Max slept with. It appears he ghosted all of them but was extremely great in bed. We also learn that one of them is a zombie and never actually slept with Max. This causes Liv to have a vision where she sees a Fillmore-Graves soldier yelling at Max.

In the pursuit to continue what Mama Leone started, Liv and Levon pay a visit to the zombie church Angus is the head of. They bump into Angus who tells them he gets brains from his son Blaine’s restaurant as donations. Liv and Clive head to Fillmore-Graves to question the soldier from Liv’s vision but they learn he could not have been the one responsible for the murder.

Things take a hilarious turn when Ravi and Peyton find Clive on Tinder. Since he and Dale have an open relationship, he is on the prowl to find someone to have sex with. Ravi decides to take Clive out for a night and manages to find him, someone, to sleep with. Shame hits Clive the next morning as he leaves the woman’s home and has a conversation with Dale where he learns she hasn’t slept with anyone else yet.

Because she is on player brain, Liv tries to hook up with anyone or anything–especially Levon who refuses to do so while she is on the brain. Liv and Clive go back to Fillmore-Graves to meet with the soldier who has been frozen because he accidentally turned someone into a zombie.

They learn that Huma’s name is actually Zoe and is the one who actually murdered Max. She wanted to exact revenge because she was turned into a zombie without her consent. As the episode comes to an end, Peyton finds Liv creating her own ID cards which makes us wonder what exactly she is up to.

iZombie was a bit slower this week as the Mama Leone mission continues and Clive struggles with getting intimate with someone who is not Dale. It makes us wonder if he’ll bite the bullet and turn himself into a zombie so he can be with Dale. Wouldn’t that be romantic? I have to say that I am super excited Peyton and Ravi are a thing again because something about them is so adorable and perfect–even though they are polar opposites. And as Liv continues to work with Levon, it will be interesting to see where their mission will lead them especially now that they’ve met Angus. Until next week, folks!
