Instead of the typical written reviews, I post videos of my reviews on my YouTube channel The Film Fanatic where we also post countdown videos, movie recommendations, script analyses and rewrites.

In each review we look at the spoiler-free likes and dislikes, analyze some spoiler-heavy thoughts and then give a final word and rating on the film.

Here is the review for The Big Sick:

Overall, The Big Sick is an equally funny and emotional romantic comedy set in the real world where cliches don’t dictate life. With gripping performances by its cast, this film is the big cure the rom-com genre needed.

Score: 9.5/10
