On the movie side, both Space Jam and A Quiet Place films continue their run near the top of the charts in both Canada and the United States as viewers continue catching up with both films in the series. Meanwhile, new Netflix Canada release, Wrath of Man, and the release of Pig on video on demand in the United States saw each make their first appearance on the charts. Word of mouth has also continued the rise of last year’s theatrically-dumped, The Empty Man.
On the television side, the release of the second season of Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ saw the series move to the top of the charts as audiences continue to ride that wave. Meanwhile, new Netflix release, Masters of the Universe, saw it place in the charts this week. Current series, Rick and Morty and The White Lotus remain on the charts as well as Peacock series Dr. Death and Yellowstone and The CW summer pickup Wellington Paranormal also remain. Finally, the support for recently-cancelled Manifest continues to place high in Canada and the United States.
