So,.it finally here. The season finale presented a lot of story elements into the mix as well as concluding the central plot of Claire and Jamie finding Young Ian and the immediate threat of Geillis Duncan as well presenting a new and exciting territory for season 4 to begin.
The ghosts of the past return for both Claire and Jamie in a very good second-to-last episode of the season with plenty of new twists and turns that our two main characters must navigate through.
Haplessly lost in the wilderness, a strange lodging, a reunion, a marriage, and bit of “spiked”soup. These are the main plot beats found in the episode which was a very unusual entry in this season, but it proved effective in the story and had a few key moments that are meant for being memorable and for comedic levity. Additionally, Caitriona Balfe was excellent in this episode.
The nativity story that inspired Christmas has been told and retold in various mediums and media, including children’s books, animated specials, and live-action feature films. Now, Sony Pictures Animation and director Timothy Reckart presents a new spin to the classic Nativity Story with the animated film The Star. Does this movie weave a new thread in this old tale or is it a far cry from its religious source material?
The journey on the seas is a dangerous one as the lives of Claire and Jamie are tested once again in amidst their sudden separation. Such are the hardships and trials that wait them in this episode. Man, when will Claire and Jamie ever get a break? Who knows?
