Classic Review: Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Since I’ve started this site, I’ve written a lot of reviews. In case you missed some of my earlier ones, I would like to share an older review of “Captain America: Civil War” which originally appeared here.

Best Movies of 2016

It’s that time of the year again. 2016 is coming to an end for a lot of us and everybody else has posted their lists of the best and worst movies of 2016 already so it’s about time that I join in and shared mine. This year, I’ve managed to break my record of 100 movies in 2015 by almost doubling it with 190 movies this year. That’s a lot of movies. Obviously, some were good and some, not so much. For some reason, I liked more movies this year so instead of the usual top 10 list, I’ve expanded it to 20. Below are the top 20 best movies of 2016:

Best Movies of 2016 (So Far)

Better late than never I always say. I’ve mentioned many times about beating my record of 100 movies last year and I am now well on my way after seeing 92 movies so far this year. That is a lot of movies and I can’t even imagine where I’ll be at the end of the year. Out of the 92 movies I’ve seen so far in 2016, there definitely were some good ones and some not so good ones. Now I’d like to talk about the 10 best movies I’ve seen so far in 2016. Some of my descriptions are from an earlier post of the best movies of year 1 of keithlovesmovies.com

Best Movies of Year 1 of keithlovesmovies.com

I didn’t think I would ever get here but here I am, now on the one year anniversary of when I started this site. I’ve done a lot of things over this time but the biggest thing for sure was movie reviews. I’ve written a lot of them over the past year which means I’ve seen a lot of movies over that time. Some of them were great and some of them were not so much. Below are the top 10 movies I’ve reviewed since I started my site. Do not confuse them for a best of 2016 so far list, that one will be coming soon.

The Avengers 2.5 (Captain America: Civil War Review)

Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.

Getting You Ready for Captain America: Civil War *Spoilers*

With the release of Captain America: Civil War this Friday, to make things easier, I have shared all my old related Civil War posts here in order to get you ready for the release. I will just warn you now by saying that some of the content I have posted below may or may not contain spoilers. Captain America: Civil War Clip *Spoilers*

If you thought I was done with the clips, then you thought wrong. I have another one to share with you today. We are now less than a week away to the release of Captain America: Civil War and I could not be more excited. As far as the clip is concerned is not really that much of a spoiler considering the film is called Civil War where one could infer that there will be a war in some form but you can never be too safe. I’m sure everyone already knows which characters are on which side so this should not surprise anyone. This clip is a fight scene between The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Black Panther/T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). I don’t personally know how it ends (again, I copy and paste videos and I do not watch them) but I can’t wait to figure it out for myself. If you would like to see the clip, please continue to the next page.

Captain America: Civil War Clip *Spoilers*

I you would like to see any other past clips or other material related to Captain America: Civil War, click here. With every passing clip, Civil War gets closer and closer with just under 3 weeks remaining until its release on May 6th. Today I have another clip here with Black Panther/T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) in the spotlight. The chase is on here as we find the panther trying to evade the likes of Captain America (Chris Evans) and The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) in what looks to be an underground tunnel. While previous clips may or may not have been spoilers (I have still not watched any of them), I don’t think that this one would be much of a spoilers as some sort of a chase just seems inevitable considering what we’re dealing with here. I’m definitely curious and interested in what happens here and in the rest of the movie. For those who are still worried about being spoiled, continue on to the next page for the clip.

Captain America: Civil War Clip *Spoilers*

Captain America: Civil War is coming and what more do I really have to say. I posted some clips to the film recently here, but fortunately enough for you, I’m not done. I have another clip for the film here featuring most of the members of Team Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) including Tony Stark/Iron Man, Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) all taking on The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). While the previous clips I posted may or may not have been spoilers (I haven’t watched them because you can never be too safe), I don’t feel the same about this one because it is merely a fight scene and you should all not be surprised. For those who are still unsure, please continue to the next page.
