The Kennedys have always been a subject to talk about and to marvel over. It’s also been said that the Kennedy family has been cursed, with the family facing many tragedies that have stained and lined their legacy’s path. Now, Hollywood gears up for a new cinematic tale on the subject of the Kennedys with the movie Chappaquiddick, the famous story revolving Ted Kennedy.
Lionsgate (and Roadside Attractions) and directors Jon and Andrew Erwin present the newest Christian religious drama film with the movie I Can Only Imagine, based on the true story of Bart Millard (the lead singer of the Christian music group MercyMe). Does this feature find its religious stride or does its Christian overtones fail to bring this cinematic tale to light?
Again another film being released in Canada and the US months after its original release in the UK. With favorable reviews and quite the star-studded cast, this historical, political satire piqued my interest and rose to the top of my watch-list.
Although this film has been out for a few months in the UK, it’s finally being released in Canada. I’m a fan of seeing the occasional character-driven dramas and this is the definition of a stage play turned film so here we go.
